If you''re a travel writer, you''ll never be at a loss for words when it comes to Leavenworth.  The Bavarian Village lies in the heart of  Washington State at the base of 8,000 foot high Cascade Mountains. The scenery is breathtaking.

The village has a distinctive European appeal with its authentic Bavarian architecture. We host Bavarian themed festivals, shopping, live theater, dining and all forms of the arts play a major role in entertaining millions of visitors each year. We have unlimited recreational opportunities.
