It is no surprise that Leavenworth is the perfect location to film a Christmas movie! We are excited to announce that “Cloudy with a Chance of Christmas” part of Lifetime’s “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” holiday lineup was filmed in Leavenworth last year and will premiere in their lineup this season on December 2nd at 8pm. The movie was filmed at several locations around Leavenworth and Plain including Icicle Ridge Winery, Leavenworth Reindeer Farm, Rhein Haus, Kris Kringl , the Gingerbread Factory, and the Festhalle, plus we had many local extras participating. We will be live streaming the movie at the Leavenworth Festhalle, free admission and free popcorn!
