Everyone has heard of the long term mental and physical benefits of meditation practice, but many people don’t know where to start.
“It’s not the thing that causes us stress… it’s our thoughts about the thing.” Our thoughts control our emotions, causing things like anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, eating disorders, addiction. These disorders can lead to many health problems. Meditation can give you some space between your thoughts so you can see the reality as it is. It’s a beautiful process and journey into our inner world. It changes the way you see the world and the way you see yourself. Stefanie has spent weeks in silence at a Vipassana Meditation center.
