Srivani Jade is a singer and composer of North Indian music. Her music celebrates universal themes such as love and longing, motherhood, the change of seasons, and festivals. The songs can range from ancient and sombre to contemporary, quirky and fun. The language is often a dialect of Hindu with introductions the pieces, the story they tell, and what to look/listen for to help the audience follow along. Her vocals are accompanied by a student vocalist who will also play the tanpura, a harmonium and a tabla.
