Leikarringen has been performing traditional Norwegian dances for over 60 years. Their repertoire includes: song dances (sangdanser), figure dances (turdanser), village dances (bygdedanser), and old time dances (gammeldanser). They perform throughout the year at various community events including Norwegian Constitution Day (known as Syttende Mai) in Ballard, Viking Fest in Poulsbo, NW Folklife at the Seattle Center, Skandia Folkdance Society’s Midsommarfest at Saint Edward State Park, Nordic Fest on Whidbey Island, ScanFair in Portland, as well as events at the National Nordic Museum.
