Each winter, Leavenworth glows with over half a million lights from 6 AM–11 PM daily, Thanksgiving through February. Free to enjoy, this Bavarian snow-globe scene is magical anytime—though January and February offer quieter, snow-dusted strolls.
Christmastown at the Festhalle
Hours: Sunday-Thursday Noon to 4pm, Friday & Saturday Noon-6pm
Step into the Festhalle for a full dose of holiday cheer! Kids can make festive crafts, write and mail letters to Santa, and snap selfies at whimsical photo stations. Pose for pictures with Santa, marvel at the gingerbread house competition, and browse Christmastown merchandise for the perfect gift—with free gift wrapping. Treat yourself to tasty snacks, soak in the festive décor, and enjoy a warm, magical escape from the winter chill.
Christmastown at the Gazebo
At the heart of Christmastown, the downtown Gazebo bursts with holiday magic. Under a canopy of more than half a million twinkling lights, enjoy free live music, strolling carolers, and cheerful performances throughout the season. Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a cast of beloved Christmas characters mingle with visitors, spreading joy and posing for photos. With music in the air, lights all around, and festive spirit at every turn, the Gazebo is where the magic of Leavenworth truly shines.
