Ticket Information
Tickets officially go on sale July 1st for Oktoberfest in Leavenworth! We recommend buying your tickets online in advance, there will be a limited amount of tickets available at the gate. We also recommend coming early to get in line for day of ticket sales.
Your Oktoberfest ticket gets you into all venues. Once inside you will purchase tickets for beer, non-alcoholic beverages, food and merchandise! Kinderplatz-only tickets cover all the games and bouncy houses, rides on the Ferris wheel ($5.00), food and merchandise are extra.

Let’s Talk Beer!
It’s no secret that our Leavenworth breweries are creating some delicious and much sought-after craft beer. This year we have a stellar line-up of local brews at the event, plus our friends at Icicle Brewing, Blewett Brewing, and Doghaus Brewery are once again collaborating on the one-of-a-kind Festbier just for Oktoberfest!
In addition to our local beers, we have a robust lineup of German imports, from Paulaner to Weihenstephan. Check out the 2023 lineup below.

The Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the 2023 Oktoberfest continues moving towards being a ZERO WASTE event! With compostable beer cups, biodegradable paper and no single use plastic utensils or water bottles are just some of the ways we are diverting waste from our area landfills!
Food Options
Brats, German sandwiches, kraut, pretzels, handmade corndogs and donuts and more! Many yummy tastes and smells of Oktoberfest can be found this year at the event.
All around town, you find plenty of German options and so much more like Pub style, Italian, Farm to Table, Mexican to name a few, your taste buds will thank you!

Kinderplatz
Fun for the kiddos (and adults who still feel like a kid!)
Our 10,000 sq ft Kinderplatz has a 62-foot Ferris wheel, bouncy obstacle course, root beer garden, face painting, games, and more. Come by and play!
For families entering the Oktoberfest beer gardens, your entry to the Kinderplatz is free. For those who just want to take your kids inside the Kinderplatz area and do not wish to attend the beer gardens, a separate admission will be available this year:
- Entry fees: $5.00/Fridays, $10.00 Saturdays (kids 12 and under are free)
- Once inside, bouncy house and games are free and you can purchase rides on the ferris wheel ($5.00) merchandise and food.
Kinderplatz is open 6:00-9:00pm on Fridays and Noon-9:00pm on Saturdays.



Old and New Traditions

Munich Oktoberfest’s longstanding tradition of the official tapping of the keg to signal the start of their festivities, is one we heartily celebrate with our keg tapping ceremony each Saturday at 1:30pm, join us! We have also brought in some new traditions like our stein holding contest and a pretzel toss just to kick the fun notch up another meter!

Oktoberfest Selfie Contest
Post your selfie on Facebook or Instagram and tag it with #oktoberfestinleavenworth to enter!
Pics are eligible to win a Leavenworth goodie bag when:
1) The selfie picture(s) are posted Friday and/or Saturday during one of our weekends.
2) The selfie includes as a backdrop, the village of Leavenworth, Front Street Park, the Kinderplatz, or the Festhalle.
3) Bonus if you are wearing Trachten or 2023 Oktoberfest branded merchandise.


Shuttle Service
We will be providing a free shuttle on all Fridays and Saturdays of Oktoberfest. They will run one hour prior to event opening until one hour after event closing.
The routes will go as far west as Icicle Road, south to Sleeping Lady, east to Safeway, and north to Ski Hill Drive, with other stops around town delivering you to the Oktoberfest gate.
