Are you interested in worm composting? Join WRI and the Cascade Garden Club for a vermiculture workshop at the E. Lorene Young Community Garden. Amanda Close of Waste Loop will be sharing tips on how to utilize the power of red wigglers to compost food scraps from your kitchen, thus reducing waste, and create nutrient rich compost and compost tea for your garden and house plants!

Please bring a small glass container with screw on lid if you would like to take home a sample of vermicompost tea fertilizer.

This program is located at WRI’s E. Lorene Young Community Garden at the corner of Commercial St. and 12th St. It will be outside with some space under shade shelters. Please be prepared for warm weather with water and a hat for this workshop.
