GEOCACHING
Your kids hide and seek game has just gone high-tech.
Geocaching is an high-tech treasure hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) to hide and seek containers (called “geocaches” or “caches”) anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook and treasures. Geocaches are currently placed in over 100 countries around the world and on all seven continents, including Antarctica.
Once found, a cache may offer small rewards for you. In keeping with caching etiquette, if you take something from the cache, you should leave something in return. For some, the biggest reward is the thrill of the search and the discovery of a place that they have never been before.
