Oktoberfest in Leavenworth offers three fully programmed venues (beer gardens) over three weekends in downtown, with amazing music from Bavaria, around the USA and local, plus dancing, food and beer! Purchase your tickets online and grab some event merchandise as well.

November 29th to December 24th

Every December, midweek and on weekends, we celebrate our eyepopping display of over half a million lights, with festive entertainment, roasted chestnuts, holiday characters for your photo ops, strolling carolers, and our fully programmed Festhalle with kids’ activities, Santa photos and more!

Weekends in January!

Picture a stunning backdrop of half a million brilliant lights, majestic mountains frosted with snow and an enchanting Bavarian village filled with fun. Come join us this January for Leavenworth’s Winter Karneval as we honor a German tradition dating back to the thirteenth century, commonly referred to as ‘Fasching’.

Events Every Weekend in May

It’s May. Spring is here…and, not a moment too soon. The sun is out, the wildflowers are bursting, the apple and pear blossoms are springing to life, and the Bavarian Village is ready for some spring fun!

We’re gearing up for our month-long celebration of Maifest where you can enjoy different events every weekend in May!

May 24th-26th

Enjoy traditional alphorn music in our amazing village setting for a weekend of visiting and local musicians playing these unique mountain instruments. Talented ensembles and soloists showcase the iconic alphorn with alphorn concerts and performances hosted by the Leavenworth Alphorn Association, and featuring participants of the Northwest Alphorn Workshop.

June 20th-23rd

Enjoy classes, concerts, and impromptu jam sessions during this fun weekend of accordion competitions, with musicians of every level from professional to amateur. Stroll through town between the three main venues of the festival: the Festhalle, Grange Hall, and the Gazebo.​

September 28th-29th

The longest running festival in Leavenworth since 1964, the Autumn Leaf Festival happens the last full weekend each September. The event brings live music, food, and fall-themed fun to visitors and locals alike. The Grand Parade is the main event on Saturday starting at Noon, and features, floats, Bavarian groups, bands and so much more!
