Pacific Gyotaku

A working studio gallery, Pacific Gyotaku creates art from nature through the Japanese process of gyotaku. Ink made from pine soot is applied directly to the subject then gently pressed with paper producing highly detailed images of delicate shapes, textures and patterns.
