Our Mission is to promote, support and enhance the resources of the public library and to enrich the educational and cultural life of the community. We do this by encouraging appreciation and use of the Leavenworth Public Library, building a greater awareness of the library facilities and expanding the role of the library.

TREAD stands for Trails Recreation Education Advocacy and Development. TREAD's goal is to bring all stakeholders together (motorized and non-motorized users on land, snow and water trails) to move forward in a coordinated fashion to thoughtfully and sustainably provide the best outdoor recreation experiences, improving quality of life for those who live in or visit the region.

Summit Christian Academy partners with parents to help children grow in faith, wisdom, and confidence through a Christ-centered classical education that nurtures curiosity, strengthens character, and prepares them for life - academically, spiritually, and personally. Summit also offers a two-week summer day camp from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm for ages 4-12 in June.

In October was our first annual Haunted Manson - Harvest by Day and Haunted by Night. Every weekend in October there is something special.

Leavenworth Alphorns
The Leavenworth Alphorns is a non-profit, community-based organization which welcomes alphorn enthusiasts of all ages. We perform at the gazebo every weekend throughout the summer and during the fall and winter festivals. Each Memorial Day weekend we host the largest gathering of alphorns in North America, the International Alphorn Workshop and Festival. Members are available for beginner sessions and private events.
