Every winter, Leavenworth celebrates with over half a million Christmas lights, music & entertainment, holiday characters for your photo ops, carolers, kids’ activities, roasting chestnuts, Santa photos and so much more!

This year, the lights will be on starting Thanksgiving Day, and then Christmastown starts November 24, the day after Thanksgiving, through Christmas Eve, we are excited to bring back:

  • Gazebo Entertainment including Choirs, Bands, Musicians, Carolers, and more!
  • Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, and friends every Saturday and Sunday at Noon!
  • Fun Activities in the Leavenworth Festhalle – Gingerbread House Exhibition, Crafts for Kids, Story Corner, Santa Costumes from Around the World, Photo Opportunities, Letters to Santa, Gift Wrapping Station, Hot Cocoa and Snacks, Official Merchandise, and more!
  • Contests & Promotions- Advent Calendar daily prizes

There is no charge to visit Leavenworth and see the lights, so make your plans to visit our beautiful Bavarian Alpine Village – it’s like living inside a magical snow globe!

Artist Event: Live Wood Carving with Craftsman Dave Francis @ Kris Kringl

Thanksgiving Weekend we are thrilled to host Northwest Wood Carver Dave Francis for live carving at the shop. Dave is also available to sign both originals and replicas of his amazing wood-carved Santas.

No registration is necessary. We look forward to introducing you to Dave and celebrating the official start of the holiday season in Leavenworth – Village of Lights: Christmastown!

Event takes place at Kris Kringl, 907 Front St in downtown Leavenworth.

Holiday Concert: “Merry Christmas from Leavenworth” @ Leavenworth Festhalle

Start your holiday season off and join us for a heartful holiday concert featuring all local talent as they perform together and individually and finish the night with a stunning rendition of “Merry Christmas from Leavenworth” the original song written by local artist Eric Link.

7:00 PM. Saturday, November 25th in the beautifully decorated (and warm!) Leavenworth Festhalle, 1001 Front Street! No Charge!

This concert takes place at the Leavenworth United Methodist Community Church, 418 Evans Street.
