Every winter Leavenworth shines bright with over half a million lights 6am until 11pm each day from Thanksgiving thru the last day of February! There is no charge to visit Leavenworth and see the lights, so make your plans to visit our beautiful Bavarian Alpine Village – it’s like living inside a magical snow globe!

This year, the lights will be on starting Thanksgiving Day, and then Christmastown starts November 24, the day after Thanksgiving, through Christmas Eve, we are excited to bring back:

  • Gazebo Entertainment including Choirs, Bands, Musicians, Carolers, and more!
  • Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, and friends every Saturday and Sunday at Noon!

Note: Kris Kringl is Mr. Fontanini’s only stop west of the Mississippi so it is quite an honor to host him and we are thrilled for you to connect with him during one of our Christmas Lighting/ Village of Lights: Christmastown festival weekends.

Leavenworth Village Voices “Christmas in the Mountains” Concert

Get in the Christmas spirit by attending one of the Leavenworth Village Voices (LVV) Christmas in the Mountains Concerts this year!

LVV is a nonprofit community choir that is passionate about sharing the joy of music with locals and visitors alike. LVV spreads holiday cheer through concerts, caroling, and charitable and private events in the Bavarian Village and throughout Chelan County and the Wenatchee Valley.

  • Saturday, December 2 at 7:30 pm, with the Bavarian Brass as our special guest artist
  • Sunday, December 10 at 2:00 pm: A benefit concert for Upper Valley MEND with the Bavarian Brass
  • Saturday, December 16 at 7:30 pm, a special joint concert with BOSAYA

Concerts will take place at Leavenworth’s own beautiful Icicle Creek Center for the Arts (ICCA), Snowy Owl Theater. Purchase tickets online through the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts website here.

The Leavenworth Alphorns provide 30 minutes of Alphorn music every Saturday and Wednesday at 2 PM in the Leavenworth Festhalle.

Live Music: Erin McNamee @ the Gazebo

Front Street Park Gazebo 820 Front Street, Leavenworth, WA, United States

Erin McNamee is a Stevens Pass local, with voice and guitar folk stylings that soulful, rustic and deep. Seattle Weekly quotes “… one of the purest voices in this city…”  She gigs regionally throughout the NW, and her day job is teaching lessons in voice coaching and multiple instruments in Snohomish, WA. Her specialties are Folk, Blues, Americana, Country and Celtic.

Erin will be at the Leavenworth Front Street Gazebo Thursday and Friday, 4 PM – 6 PM
