    The Festhalle will be open from noon to 4:00 PM, where you can get out of the weather and enjoy free crafts, coloring, a gingerbread house exhibition, photo opportunities, and other activities.

    Every winter, Leavenworth shines bright with over half a million lights from 6 AM until 11 PM each day from Thanksgiving through the last day of February! There is no charge to visit Leavenworth and see the lights, so plan to visit our beautiful Bavarian Alpine Village—it’s like living inside a magical snow globe!

    INSIDER TIP! If you want to see the Christmastown lights with snow and enjoy the town without the large crowds, January or February is a great time to come! The lights are on every day through the end of February.

    Due to the significant and ongoing impact of recent weather events in Leavenworth, Washington, the Village of Lights display in Front Street Park for the Christmastown festival will not be illuminated this weekend.

    Costume characters, including Santa Claus, will not appear this weekend, and entertainment at the Gazebo will not appear.

    Food vendors will be open in Front Street Park. 

    Once power returns, we will open the Festhalle, where you can get out of the weather and enjoy free crafts, coloring, a gingerbread house exhibition, photo opportunities, among other activities.

    Enjoy a wide range of holiday music at the Gazebo featuring professional musicians, school choirs, school bands, handbell choirs, the 133rd National Guard Band, and more!

    Every weekend from November 28-December 24:

    • Fridays: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    • Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    • Sundays: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

    And the week of Christmas:

  • Santa visits Goose Ridge Tasting Room

    Are you on the nice or naughty list this year?

    Come out and enjoy the magic of the season with our favorite visitor from the North Pole, Santa Claus. The sleigh will be flying over to our Leavenworth tasting room for a special Santa visit for all the good little girls and boys. Santa and will be visiting from 12-3pm. Grab your reservation today and don’t forget your camera!

    Our staff will be keeping that mulled wine hot, as well as wine and cider. We look forward to spreading some holiday cheer with you.

    Reservations are required for tables. And hurry, they book fast!

    Without a reservation, please stop by to take a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Don’t forget to stock up on wine and cider for the holidays!
