Every winter Leavenworth shines bright with over half a million lights 6am until 11pm each day from Thanksgiving thru the last day of February! There is no charge to visit Leavenworth and see the lights, so make your plans to visit our beautiful Bavarian Alpine Village – it’s like living inside a magical snow globe!
Every winter, Leavenworth celebrates with over half a million Christmas lights, music & entertainment, holiday characters for your photo ops, carolers, kids’ activities, roasting chestnuts, Santa photos and so much more!
This year, the lights will be on starting Thanksgiving Day, and then Christmastown starts November 24, the day after Thanksgiving, through Christmas Eve, we are excited to bring back:

Our famous Christmas lights are on every day from Thanksgiving through the last day of February. In fact, if you want to see the lights with snow and enjoy the town without the large crowds, January or February is a great time to come!

The Leavenworth Alphorns provide 30 minutes of Alphorn music every Saturday and Wednesday at 2 PM in the Leavenworth Festhalle.
Please join us in the beautifully decorated Leavenworth Festhalle, 1001 Front Street, where you will also find free gift wrapping, free crafts for kids, a gingerbread houses exhibition, international Santa costumes on display, photo opportunities, official merchandise, snacks, and more!
Live music with Corban Welter from 4-6pm in the Gazebo. Corban plays and sings holiday and winter music.
A graduate of Berklee college of music, Corban Welter has a background in American roots styles and a passion for songwriting. Influenced by artists like Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, and Townes Van Zandt, his music is informed by a life of travel and observation.
