  • Village of Lights On

    Every winter, Leavenworth shines bright with over half a million lights 6am until 11pm each day from Thanksgiving thru the last day of February! In January and February, we generally see more snow, and with fewer crowds, it is a perfect time for a winter holiday. All shops and restaurants are open.

    There is no charge to visit Leavenworth and see the lights, so make your plans to visit our beautiful Bavarian Alpine Village – it’s like living inside a magical snow globe!

  • Interactive Glassblowing Experience @ Boulder Bend Glassworks

    Interactive glassblowing experience at Boulder Bend Glassworks.

    During this workshop you’ll have the opportunity to choose and create your own unique glass piece(s) under the guidance of Craig or Jori. Each participant will enjoy a hands-on experience in the hot shop, witnessing the transformation of molten glass into a stunning work of art.

    Book multiple sessions and bring friends or family to share in the fun of glassblowing. We offer this interactive experience most Saturdays, with approximately 60-90 minute sessions for 1-2 participants available throughout the day. The project choices will change every few months with the holidays and seasons. Minimum age 14.

  • Resort Yoga For All Levels @ Sleeping Lady Resort

    An hour of relaxation, rejuvenation, and renewal to start your weekend feeling refreshed and recharged!

    Find your weekend zen with us! Our instructor will base the class on your needs and lead you through a practice to focus on the things you are looking for this week.
    Registration begins at 9:30am in the resort lobby area where you check-in, pay and get your card punched. We provide mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps but you are welcome to bring your own. $16 for off-site guests and $10 for resort guests, collect 5 punches on your card and get your 6th class free!

  • Winter Wander at the Hatchery

    Begin the year with new discoveries! Starting from the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery, join Wenatchee River Institute naturalist guides on a one-mile trail along beautiful Icicle Creek. We will learn about native wildlife and ecology along the way. What signs do we see along the trail that tell us what animals were there? How do the plants and animals survive winter? Gaiters and poles will be provided (and snowshoes if weather/snowpack permits).

  • Adult/Teen Cross-Country Ski Clinic @ Plain Valley Ski Trails

    Plain Valley Ski Trails Beaver Valley Rd, Leavenworth, WA

    Enjoy a 2-hour clinic designed for beginners and will focus on either skate or classic. Skiers will work through progressive techniques, with the goal of independently skiing gentle terrain by the end of the clinic.

    Design your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!

    Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.

    Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.

    For groups of 6 or more, please inquire regarding a private workshop.
