Can you hear those sweet melodies ringing in your ears? It’s the chirping of birds in the Meadow, as we welcome Birds of Playback to Icicle Creek Center for the Arts. Birds of Play is an Americana Roots quartet based in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado. Their distinct sound is rooted in and inspired by their connection to the land in which they reside. Opening for Birds of Play is local band Gideon’s Daughter. Husband and wife duo, Lisa (vox) and Brad (vox/guitar) Petit, plus two of our very own, technical director Eric Frank on bass guitar and artistic director Phil Lacey on keyboard. The venue is the Meadow located next to Snowy Owl Theater and is open at 6 pm. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Guide and Service Animals are always welcome. Otherwise please leave your dog at home.
