Birding by the River
Wenatchee River Institute 347 Division Street, WA, United StatesThis is a great opportunity to learn about eBird, the largest biodiversity-related community science project in the world, and utilize it to record our observations of local wild birds. Total walking distance is ½ mile, over a gravel path with two moderate hills. Come prepared for the weather. These walks will happen on the second Wednesday of each month for the whole year. Join us for as many as you can!
Trail is wide enough for ADA access, but trails are gravel
Meet outside the River Haus at 8am and plan to be finished by 9:30am. This is a FREE event and no registration is needed.

Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.
Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.

A lifelong resident of Washington State, Garrido is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. He studied saxophone at Centralized Washington University and is well versed in many genres from country western to be bop, swing to soul.

Sergio Cuevas:
Sergio studied at Cornish College of the Arts and received a degree in jazz performance while also performing weekly in Seattle on the local jazz scene. After college, Sergio recorded and toured with reggae legends Clinton Fearon and also The Viceroys, touring nationally and internationally. In 2005, he moved back to Leavenworth where he continues to perform just about every night of the week.
