Plant Foraging Workshop: Yarrow

We will be hosting plant foraging workshops to introduce people to the abundance of local plants and their edible, medicinal, and functional uses. Each workshop will feature a new plant at its unique harvest time. Participants will learn hands-on how to identify, harvest, propagate, and make use of the plant. Our goal is to empower people to respectfully and reciprocally engage with the plants that live here.

Chris Baron is a model singer-songwriter from the PNW, with imaginative hints of Cat Stevens’ big band style and the storytelling style of Avett Brothers and Wilco to inject energy into the room every time he appears. Two dates to catch this kindly star at Munchen Haus this summer: June 14 and August 29. The music will beckon you in and shake your hand, and you can probably have a beer and talk nerdy music stuff with him afterwards.
Make Your Own Glass Fusing Workshop at Boulder Bend Glassworks
Boulder Bend Glassworks 8210 US Highway 2, Leavenworth, WA, United StatesDesign your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!
Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.
Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.
For groups of 6 or more, please inquire regarding a private workshop.
