The Leavenworth Wine Classic features locally recognized chefs and wineries from Washington to celebrate fine wine and culinary delights. Benefiting Tierra Learning Center, the event provides an opportunity for culinary and wine connoisseurs to socialize in the extraordinary setting at Sunitsch Canyon.
The Leavenworth Alphorns take great pleasure in showcasing the Alphorn and promoting the alpine theme in Leavenworth and beyond. Â Their public appearances often include a bit of alphorn education and, of course, photo ops!
The Alphorn serenade will occur every Saturday at 5:30 pm at the Gazebo in Front Street Park, from June 1st through August 31st.
With authentic instruments, singing and yodeling, AlpenFolk presents the music and folklore of the Alps. They offer alpine music the way it was meant to be played – the way it is played today in rustic inns and mountain chalets of Bavaria, Tyrol, Styria and throughout the Alps!

An iconic Leavenworth experience, join us for a magical night where the stars come out and the hills truly are alive with Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music.
Join local astronomers under the stars where they will answer your deepest cosmic questions, dive into the depths of the cosmos, explore our small harmonious Solar System, and massive chaotic celestial objects.
Grab a blanket or a chair and lay out under the stars on the beach of Lake Wenatchee South Park where local astronomers and Park Rangers will explore the night sky.
Every program is different in this series and is catered to the curious and imaginative. So, bring your deepest cosmic questions and let’s blast off into space!
During the program, please avoid the use of white light, red lensed lights are allowed. If you’re driving to the event, please try to avoid pointing headlights towards the beach while parking.
Please arrive 10 minutes early, dress appropriately for the weather and possible wind; insect repellant may be necessary. The event is free. Day use visitors will require a Discover Pass on their vehicle for parking. This program will take place on the large South Beach at Lake Wenatchee South Park. There will be a red-illuminated sign at the event.

Join us for Sunday morning yoga in the beautiful gardens of the Blue Elk Inn. Class will be taught by local yoga instructor Shalynn Johnston. Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one.
Learn about nature by having fun in this interactive activity with a Park Ranger. Join us at the South Park Amphitheater at 10 a.m. where Park Rangers will put on a fun, interactive, kid-friendly program based on the Junior Ranger Ethos and the natural world we live in. Please arrive 5 minutes early, children must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is free to the public, however, day-use visitors will require a Discover Pass on their vehicle for parking. This event takes place within the South Park. The Amphitheater is located near the Group Camp.
Design your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!
Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.
Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.
For groups of 6 or more, please inquire regarding a private workshop.
Robert Baumann played his first professional accordion gig at age 12 and has been playing professionally at restaurants, wineries and private events ever since for the past 60+ years!
He played upright bass for 30-years with Leavenworth’s beloved Alpine music group, AlpenFolk, and is delighted to be back in town entertaining Leavenworth guests on accordion with his broad background of Bavarian & Austrian music.
Robert speaks German fluently and his music provides the perfect ambience for guests visiting our amazing Bavarian Village.
Students entering 9th – 12th grade explore music recording basics and get hands-on experience setting up recording sessions, mic’ing up a band, mixing, lighting, and more. An incredible hands-on approach to learning about sound, recording, and all things live music.
This camp was designed with both vocalists and rhythm section players in mind. All campers will explore subjects like melodic phrasing, ensemble work, soling, improvisation, musicality and musicianship, theory, ear training, jazz history, active listening, and more. For students entering 9th- 12th grade.
Join us from 6-8pm at the taproom on the brew floor (downstairs bar) for some sweet Bingo action. Free to play, with gift card winner every round!

This heartwarming “tale as old as time” astounds with lavish musical numbers and spectacular costumes and sets.
The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
Join Wenatchee River Institute, in partnership with Leavenworth Outdoor Center, on a relaxing evening paddle down the Wenatchee River. This is a guided trip that will introduce you to the plants (flora) and animals (fauna) of our diverse river area (riparian zone). You will learn how to be a better observer of nature and be introduced to river safety and navigation. This is a great way to build your naturalist skills and confidence on the river.
Included: Kayak or paddle board, Life vest (PFD), transportation from WRI
