Repair Cafes are a community space which brings together skilled volunteer fixers and items that need repair. These events foster community, reduce waste, and build up the circular economy in NCW. Check out https://www.wasteloop.org/community-repair-cafes for more info.
Learn how to make simple and functional coiled baskets out of local and abundant material. Participants will be instructed in making a small round basket out of Ponderosa Pine needles. This is a great intro to coiled basket techniques, which have been utilized by indigenous peoples across the globe. This technique can be adopted to an endless variety of shapes, sizes, and materials. We have a limited number of spots available, so sign up soon.

Sergio Cuevas:
Sergio studied at Cornish College of the Arts and received a degree in jazz performance while also performing weekly in Seattle on the local jazz scene. After college, Sergio recorded and toured with reggae legends Clinton Fearon and also The Viceroys, touring nationally and internationally. In 2005, he moved back to Leavenworth where he continues to perform just about every night of the week.

Design your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!
Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.
Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.
For groups of 6 or more, please inquire regarding a private workshop.

Join us every Saturday for an hour of zen to relax, rejuvenate, and renew for the weekend! Our instructor will base the class on your needs and lead you through a practice to focus on the things you are looking for this week.
Registration begins at 9:30am in the resort lobby area where you check-in, pay and get your card punched. We provide mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps but you are welcome to bring your own. $16 for off-site guests and $10 for resort guests, collect 5 punches on your card and get your 6th class free!
Join local firefighters in an interactive game of show and tell. Try on their gear, hop on the engine, and learn how they fight fires.
Join us at 10 a.m. in the South Park Amphitheater where Lake Wenatchee Fire & Rescue personnel talk about fire safety and show their gear and fire engines to the crowd. See how much gear they carry and why, you can even try them on yourself!
Ever sprayed a fire hose? Give it a try at the Junior Firefighter Program. This event is great for all ages! Program is subject to cancellation if Fire Department is called out for an emergency. This event takes place at the South Park Amphitheater. The Amphitheater is located near Group Camp.
