    Seth Garrido:
    A lifelong resident of Washington State, Garrido is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. He studied saxophone at Centralized Washington University and is well versed in many genres from country western to be-bop, swing to soul. His album Heavy Handed Heart was released in 2021. Seth is deeply committed to his community of musicians, friends, and family and is passionate about human connection via songwriting and storytelling.

  • Make Your Own Glass Fusing Workshop @ Boulder Bend Glassworks

    Design your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!

    Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.

    Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.

    For groups of 6 or more, please inquire regarding a private workshop.

  • River Discovery Tour

    A guided, educational float down the Wenatchee River.

    Join Wenatchee River Institute, in partnership with Leavenworth Outdoor Center, on a relaxing evening paddle down the Wenatchee River. This is a guided trip that will introduce you to the plants (flora) and animals (fauna) of our diverse river area (riparian zone). You will learn how to be a better observer of nature and be introduced to river safety and navigation. This is a great way to build your nature skills and confidence on the river.

    Limit – 10 participants – registration required
    Included – Kayak or paddle board, Life vest (PFD), transportation from WRI
    Difficulty level – Beginner to intermediate, recommended you have basic swimming ability.
    Ages – 8 and older, an adult must accompany anyone 15 and younger.
    Accessibility – Tandem kayaks are available.
