Design your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!
Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.
Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.
For groups of 6 or more, please inquire regarding a private workshop.

Learn about the environmental, economic, and health benefits of composting and how to get started with drop-off or home copmosting. Chelan County Master Gardener and Master Composter Mark Kulaas will answer questions about composting for home gardens.

This weekend will fill your entertainment card right up with Maipole dancing, Bavarian music, our annual Festzug (or Grand March) where town folk dress in their Bavarian best to welcome you to town and includes the Bernese Mountain dogs, and so much more! We love our Bavarian traditions and this weekend is full of them.

Find your weekend zen with us! Our instructor will base the class on your needs and lead you through a practice to focus on the things you are looking for this week.
Registration begins at 9:30am in the resort lobby area where you check-in, pay and get your card punched. We provide mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps but you are welcome to bring your own. $16 for off-site guests and $10 for resort guests, collect 5 punches on your card and get your 6th class free!

Leavenworth National Fish hatchery has over five miles of flat, easy trails that pass through a variety of pine forest, open meadow, and streamside habitats that are home to a variety of birds! Stop by the visitor center or the wooden board outside to pick up your trail map and bird list to start you self-guided bird walk. Benches along the trail offer excellent bird viewing (especially in the morning hours) and make this a great activity for families or birders who appreciate resting spots along the way. Registration is not required for this self-led walk.
Location: 12790 Fish Hatchery Rd. Leavenworth, WA 98826. Visitor center is open 8-4:30 daily. Outside of those hours the information brochure will be available to pick up just outside the visitor center on the wooden board.
Parking: Park in the lot on the right, before the gate.
Trail: Some uneven ground with minimal elevation gain.

After a great day of birding, come socialize with us at Bird Fest Happy Hour! This event is held on the wonderful campus of Wenatchee River Institute. Stop in anytime to meet fellow birders and friends, old and new. All are welcome!
Highlights include:
Wingspan and other bird games – sit and play or watch and see what all the buzz is about. Audubon volunteers will staff game tables at WRI from 3:00-6:00.
Bird Trivia – drop in from 4:00-5:30 to play with your own team or join one there!
Beer, wine, and sparkling water will be available for purchase. Thanks to our sponsor Icicle Brewing Company for providing the beer!
Join us on Front Street where professional chainsaw carvers will create large-scale, German-inspired carvings. These renowned carvers, local to the Pacific Northwest, will use a variety of chainsaws and other special tools to create their masterpieces. Between live carving times, they will be selling their other pieces and talking with customers and live music will be playing in the Gazebo.

In between carving sessions, enjoy AlpenFolk playing the music of the Alps from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM and the Leavenworth Alphorns from 3:00 – 3:30 PM at the Front St Park Gazsebo.
