Join us for a special event with local author Kristin Joy Wilks as she reads from her newest early chapter book, “Phooey Kerflooey vs. The Deep, Deep Dark!” Followed by a short interactive storytelling workshop where kids will rewrite part of the book and act out each other’s works. Recommended ages: K-4th grade.

Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest is part retirement home, part rescue, part educational facility. Learn how this unique organization cares for chimpanzees who have been used in the pet, entertainment, and biomedical industries and how the sanctuary has grown over the last seventeen years.

Doors open at 6:30pm for a community social with beer and wine available for purchase. The presentation will start at 7:00pm.

Join Wenatchee Valley Astronomy club at Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery where we will reveal the Stars and other celestial objects through telescopes. Bring your own telescope or stop by and look through ours and learn the night sky. This is a great program to get into astronomy and a place for experience astronomers to meet others.
