  • Resort Yoga For All Levels @ Sleeping Lady Resort

    An hour of relaxation, rejuvenation, and renewal to start your weekend feeling refreshed and recharged!

    Find your weekend zen with us! Our instructor will base the class on your needs and lead you through a practice to focus on the things you are looking for this week.
    Registration begins at 9:30am in the resort lobby area where you check-in, pay and get your card punched. We provide mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps but you are welcome to bring your own. $16 for off-site guests and $10 for resort guests, collect 5 punches on your card and get your 6th class free!

  • Make Your Own Glass Fusing Workshop @ Boulder Bend Glassworks

    Make Your Own Glass Fusing Workshop at Boulder Bend Glassworks

    Design your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!

    Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.

    Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.

    For groups of 6 or more, please inquire regarding a private workshop.

    Join the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce and the Leavenworth Alphorn Association on Memorial Day Weekend as we present the annual Leavenworth International Alphorn Festival in conjunction with the NW Alphorn Workshop. They will be joined by Alphorn players from throughout North America for a weekend of Alphorn concerts and special performances.

    Concert schedule (subject to change):

    Saturday, May 24

    4:30 pm – Alphorn procession to the Gazebo
    5:00 pm – Alphorn Virtuoso Concert, Downtown Gazebo

    Sunday, May 25
    1:00–3:00 pm – Alpine Showcase, Leavenworth Ski Hill
    4:00 pm – NW Alphorn Workshop Recital and Concert, Downtown Gazebo

     

    The NW Alphorn Workshop is part of Leavenworth’s annual International Alphorn Festival and includes these highlights:

    • Players of all abilities welcome, with a “Beginners’ Circle” offered.
    • Professional instructional staff
    • Opportunities for private lessons by professional players (subject to fee)
    • Alphorn Market: opportunity to purchase horns, mouthpieces and music
    • Rental horns available (limited number!) 
    • Many opportunities for public performances.

  • Make Your Own Glass @ Boulder Bend Glassworks

    Boulder Bend Glassworks 8210 US Highway 2, Leavenworth, WA, United States

    Interactive glassblowing experience at Boulder Bend Glassworks. During this workshop you’ll have the opportunity to choose and create your own unique glass piece(s) under the guidance of Craig or Jori. Each participant will enjoy a hands-on experience in the hot shop, witnessing the transformation of molten glass into a stunning work of art.

    Book multiple sessions and bring friends or family to share in the fun of glassblowing. We offer this interactive experience most Saturdays, with approximately 60-90 minute sessions for 1-2 participants available throughout the day. The project choices will change every few months with the holidays and seasons. Minimum age 14.

    Prices are $300 per session. Sign up today via our website or in person. Advance reservations highly recommended, but limited walk-ins are welcome on a space availability basis.
