We begin with an opening circle to co-create a safe container for everyone to move freely. The dance takes participants on a journey with music carefully curated to guide expression, and we end with a closing circle to share and connect if desired. Imagine a stage that feels like your living room—cozy, welcoming, and alive with music. Mountain Music Productions and Icicle Creek Center for the Arts invite you into that space with the Singer, Songwriter, Storyteller 2025–26 Series, featuring nine intimate evenings of music from October 2025 through June 2026, where local and national artists share songs, stories, and heartfelt performances up close.
This evening features three standout voices: Beau Warren, a rising Wenatchee talent with gritty vocals, rhythmic guitar, and a sound shaped by influences from Frank Sinatra to Jack Johnson; Scott Heuston of Saltwater Sky, whose blues-infused country songwriting draws from legends like Johnny Cash, CCR, and Tyler Childers, delivering honest storytelling and soulful connection; and Kitty Mae, a two-time Northwest CMA Award winner known for her high-energy, dance-worthy performances and a fresh country sound inspired by Dolly Parton and Miranda Lambert. Together, they promise a night of connection, storytelling, and unforgettable music.
Renowned for its gorgeous melodies and dazzling vocal fireworks, I Puritani returns to the Met on New Year’s Eve in the company’s first new production of Bellini’s final masterpiece in nearly 50 years. Directed by Charles Edwards and conducted by Marco Armiliato, the production stars Lisette Oropesa and Lawrence Brownlee as star-crossed lovers Elvira and Arturo, alongside Artur Ruciński and Christian Van Horn, in a powerful story of love and political division during the English Civil War.
The Met: Live in HD brings the Metropolitan Opera’s 2025–26 season to audiences worldwide with eight high-definition transmissions shown on more than 2,000 screens in over 70 countries. Run time: approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes, including one intermission.
