Design your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!
Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.
Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.
For groups of 6 or more, please inquire regarding a private workshop.
Gavin McLaughlin is a Wenatchee native whose style envelopes many genres, including rock, country, reggae, folk, and pop. Go birding with knowledgeable WRI staff around Walla Walla Point Park and the Horan Natural Area in Wenatchee! All birding skill levels are welcome. Need binoculars? We have loaner binoculars that you can borrow.
Come prepared for the weather. This event will happen rain or shine!
Trail difficulty level: beginner level (2 miles)
Trail is wide enough for ADA access, but trails are mostly gravel and compact earth.
Meet in the north parking lot of Walla Walla Point Park at 7:30am. The plan is to finish by 9:30am.
Come learn the basics of fly tying to make you successful as you fish our local rivers! There is nothing like catching a fish with a fly you hand tied!
Enjoy small group instruction provided by the Wenatchee Valley Fly Fishers and volunteers.Each student will walk away with an understanding of beginning fly tying techniques, including the use of tools and various fly-tying materials enabling independent tying of diverse patterns. All materials and tools are provided, and students will leave with 6-8 flies to get started on fishing adventures!
PRICE: $75, non-member, $60- WRI member. Each ticket includes all five nights.

Connect 4 Tournament, Wednesday, Feb 28 at Icicle taproom! Sign up online, or in person before 6pm, and we’ll play head-to-head, best out of three, in a tournament bracket starting at about 6:30pm. It’s free to enter the tourney, and prizes for the winner(s). Let’s do this!
Do you have items that need fixing? Repair Cafes are a community space which brings together skilled volunteer fixers and items that need repair, including textiles, small electronics and appliances, and bicycles – fostering community, reducing waste, and boosting the circular economy in NCW.
Join us at our taproom from 6-8pm! Assemble your brain-trust in groups of maximum 5, buy-in for $1 per person, and let the games begin! The winning team takes home most of the cash, and second place gets a small cut.

Friday night is a special night because we’ll be having live music with local Sergio and Andy Cuevas @ Woohoo Winery Tasting Room in Leavenworth.
They will be performing from 6pm- 8pm. Come enjoy his music over some of our wine.
Wine, specialty drinks, non-alcoholic beverages, and some food items will be available for purchase.
