Winter Wander at the Hatchery
Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery 12790 Fish Hatchery Road, Leavenworth, WA, United StatesBegin the year with new discoveries! No experience needed! Starting from the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery, join Wenatchee River Institute naturalist guides on a one-mile trail along beautiful Icicle Creek. We will learn about native wildlife and ecology along the way. What signs do we see along the trail that tell us what animals were there? How do the plants and animals survive winter? Gaiters and poles will be provided (and snowshoes if weather/snowpack permits).

Over 100 people from various regions of the State plan to attend including athletes, coaches, parents and volunteers.

We provide mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps but you are welcome to bring your own. $16 for off-site guests and $10 for resort guests, collect 5 punches on your card and get your 6th class free! -
