    Go behind the scenes of live music. Students gain hands-on experience with stage setup, sound reinforcement, microphone placement, lighting, and recording while learning the skills and technology that bring concerts and events to life.

    Robert Baumann played his first professional accordion gig at age 12 and has been performing ever since—for over 60 years. A longtime upright bassist with Leavenworth’s AlpenFolk, he now entertains guests on accordion with his rich background in Bavarian and Austrian music. Fluent in German, Robert brings authentic charm and atmosphere to the Bavarian Village experience.

    Our summer “Jazzamatazz” concert series started in 2003 as a hang-out night listening to Don and Kristen play with their quartet on top of the 1930’s era flatbed farm truck. That series expanded to multiple summer concerts, always featuring the best of the best in Smooth Jazz, Folk, and Rock.

    Enjoy amazing live music this summer, starting the last weekend in June. We have reserved the stage here on the lawn for Friday nights. You will hear a little bit of everything this summer. From smooth jazz, folk and rock…there will be something to delight your musical soul. There is no cover, just come and hang out. Wine, meats, cheeses and artisan crackers are here for your purchase enjoyment. Or, if you bring your own picnic lunch, that’s great too.

    It’s always a perfect summer evening…seventy-five degrees…. a light breeze, birds singing, as the sun sets behind the majestic Icicle Ridge. Come join us, no reservations required!

    Some seating available, but feel free to bring your own low back lawn chairs or blankets too!

  • Interactive Glassblowing Experience @ Boulder Bend Glassworks

    During this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to choose and create your own unique glass piece(s) under the guidance of Craig or Jori. Each participant will enjoy a hands-on experience in the hot shop, witnessing the transformation of molten glass into a stunning work of art.

    Book multiple sessions and bring friends or family to share in the fun of glassblowing. We offer this interactive experience most Tuesdays and Saturdays (during summer), with approximately 60-90 minute sessions for 1-2 participants available throughout the day. The project choices will change every few months with the holidays and seasons. Minimum age 14.

    Find your weekend zen with us! Our instructor will base the class on your needs and lead you through a practice to focus on the things you are looking for this week.
    Registration begins at 9:30am in the resort lobby area where you check-in, pay and get your card punched. We provide mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps but you are welcome to bring your own. $16 for off-site guests and $10 for resort guests, collect 5 punches on your card and get your 6th class free!

    Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the serene setting of the outdoor Meadow Stage.
