    Design your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!

    Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.

    Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.

    Valley of the Bears follows bears and humans in the Bella Coola Valley, British Columbia. A coexistence way of life is being adopted, however, human-bear conflict is on the rise. We hope that local residents will find parallels between the lessons learned in other communities and those of us who live with black bears in the Cascades.

    Consider joining us on Saturday, April 11th at the Black Bear Bonanza for a full day of talks, discussions, and demonstrations all about black bears!

    Over 15 professional Bavarian folk dance troupes will parade down Front Street from Gustav’s to the Front Street Park Gazebo on Saturday, April 11th at 4:30 PM. See their beautiful traditional costumes and cheer them on. The dance troupes are in Leavenworth attending the Bezirksfest West competition.
