Get ready to rock for animal rescue! Rescue Rocks is a lively night of music, auctions, raffles, local wine and beer, appetizers, and big-hearted fun benefiting Team Okanogan Animal Rescue’s free spay/neuter/vaccine clinics, pet food assistance, and rescue programs across North Central Washington.
During this 75-minute conversation, Kristin will provide insights on the significance of her female characters and the importance of placing complex, resilient female characters at the center of historical events. We will discover how Firefly Lane and The Nightingale were singled out of her other works as a Netflix series (Firefly Lane) and an upcoming movie (The Nightingale).

Over 15 professional Bavarian folk dance troupes will parade down Front Street from Gustav’s to the Front Street Park Gazebo on Saturday, April 11th at 4:30 PM. See their beautiful traditional costumes and cheer them on. The dance troupes are in Leavenworth attending the Bezirksfest West competition.
LWSC will be hosting Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour at the Leavenworth Festhalle! This event is one of our larger fundraisers for the year.
