  • Interactive Glassblowing Experience @ Boulder Bend Glassworks

    During this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to choose and create your own unique glass piece(s) under the guidance of Craig or Jori. Each participant will enjoy a hands-on experience in the hot shop, witnessing the transformation of molten glass into a stunning work of art.

    Book multiple sessions and bring friends or family to share in the fun of glassblowing. We offer this interactive experience most Tuesdays and Saturdays (during summer), with approximately 60-90 minute sessions for 1-2 participants available throughout the day. The project choices will change every few months with the holidays and seasons. Minimum age 14.

    Our outdoor market, held May through October in downtown Leavenworth, showcases a vibrant mix of emerging and professional artists. Each weekend you’ll find vivid paintings, stunning photography, and handcrafted jewelry and metalwork you won’t want to miss.

    Find your weekend zen with us! Our instructor will base the class on your needs and lead you through a practice to focus on the things you are looking for this week.
    Registration begins at 9:30am in the resort lobby area where you check-in, pay and get your card punched. We provide mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps but you are welcome to bring your own. $16 for off-site guests and $10 for resort guests, collect 5 punches on your card and get your 6th class free!

    Celebrate Museum Day with FREE Admission! In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Washington State has declared a special Museum Day, and the Greater Leavenworth Museum is joining the celebration with FREE admission for all visitors!

    Come experience the stories that make our town and the surrounding area unique and special. Hear stories about the first peoples of the p’squosa (or Wenatchi) or the height of the logging and train depot days, or how we became today’s Bavarian Village.

    And as special treat, take in our newest exhibit that is part of the statewide America 250: “Out of Many, One” project, our museum, in partnership with residents across the seven Upper Valley communities—Peshastin, Dryden, Plain, Stevens Pass/Merritt, Blewett, Lake Wenatchee, and Leavenworth—has selected meaningful artifacts that tell each community’s unique American story. These items, drawn from our collection and community loans, come together to reveal the shared history that shaped the entire valley.

    Northwest CMA finalist and two-time nominee, Owen Barnhart is a country solo artist, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Washington State’s North Cascades. Raised in a remote mountain town and descended from early Lake Chelan homesteaders, Owen discovered music as a child while navigating alopecia, a rare form of hair loss that helped shape his resilience and creative voice. He delivers soulful, banjo-driven performances and distinctive takes on Country and Americana classics, performing full-time across the Northwestern U.S. at farms, festivals, wineries, songwriter events, and charity functions. His influences include Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Sturgill Simpson.

  • Kairos Student Artist Concert

    This concert features the students from the Kairos Chamber Music Immersive including Central West Quartet from Central Washington University. These students have been working with Kairos and Dr. Stehphen Beus through focused chamber music collaboration, participants will strengthen their ensemble skills, musical independence, and connections with their peers—qualities essential to future music-making.

    The Kairos Chamber Music Festival is an intense educational experience for intimate groups of serious high school and college level string players and pianists, selected for their playing ability and desire to develop their collaborative skills. In addition to a rigorous musical schedule, young artists (age 15+) will also experience and participate in masterclasses, reading sessions and related activities. This concert is a showcase of all they have learned and worked on through their time at ICCA during the Kairos Chamber Music Intensive featuring Dr. Stephen Bues.

    Kairos Quartet featuring internationally acclaimed pianist, Dr. Stephen Beus will be kicking off this year’s Chamber Music Festival at ICCA. The Kairos Quartet has been a staple of classical music at ICCA since its inception and this is sure to be a concert chamber and classical music lovers do not want to miss. This is the second of 2 faculty concerts with The Kairos Chamber Music Immersive and the second of a series of 5 concerts total over the course of the Chamber Music Festival.

    A young writer in 1940s North Carolina uncovers a heartbreaking 1920s love story involving a literary editor, a forbidden romance, and a tragic loss – all told through soaring bluegrass melodies that evoke redemption and healing.

    Performances begin at 8pm, with the venue opening 1 hour prior to showtime.

    Directed by Dr. Emily Rollie, with a 2.5-hour running time, including a 15-minute intermission.

  • Make Your Own Glass Fusing Workshop at Boulder Bend Glassworks

    Design your own glass fusing in a variety of shapes using colorful hand-pulled cane and murrine made at our studio. No plate glass used here!

    Come to the Boulder Bend Glassworks studio and start your fusing workshop anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. No reservations required. Generally, participants take 40 to 90 minutes to design their glass piece.

    Available for ages 7 and up. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian.

    For groups of 6 or more, please inquire regarding a private workshop.
